2018 Transformational Prison Project Restorative Justice Programming The Transformational Prison Project, a project of Community Works West, works in correctional facilities in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, where it employs a mixture of contemplative and reflective practices that help people – including those who are incarcerated – process events in their lives, generate greater compassion and empathy, and help them find a path to bettering themselves and others.
