2018 LA Compost Community Compost Hubs Support for the expansion of community-wide composting projects to provide increased access to quality compost to both divert food waste from landfills and support the growing of nutrient dense food in Los Angeles. Southern California Food Security $25,000

2018 Massachusetts School Administrators’ Association (MSAA) The Soul of Leadership: Courage, Reflection, and Integrity A partnership between the Massachusetts School Administrators’ Association (MSAA) and Courage & Renewal Northeast, Soul of Leadership offers a leadership development experience steeped in the Center for Courage & Renewal framework to school principals in Massachusetts. 2018 Center for Whole Communities Whole Thinking in Practice Year-Long Fellowship The Center for Whole Communities' Whole Thinking in Practice Fellowship Program is fostering the participants' ability to deepen their awareness, embrace and work with differences, spur dialogue, and help them tell their own stories. New England Spirituality $55,000

2018 Transformational Prison Project Restorative Justice Programming The Transformational Prison Project, a project of Community Works West, works in correctional facilities in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, where it employs a mixture of contemplative and reflective practices that help people – including those who are incarcerated – process events in their lives, generate greater compassion and empathy, and help them find a path to bettering themselves and others. 2018 Urban Collaboratives Platform Impact Platform Impact, a River LA initiative, operates a fellowship program for non-profit professionals that are mid-career and identify as people of color that provides a space and a unique experience to grow visionary, empathetic, and compassionate leaders.
